2nd Tenor Horn -
Rachael started playing the baritone horn, whilst doing her GCSE's at Rainford High School. She became a member of the St Helens Youth Brass band, starting in the training band and then a year later playing 1st baritone for the A band. After finishing her studies at university, Rachael now works as a supervisior at JJB sports and decided to come back to band. Rachael has now taken up playing the tenor horn and loves it!!!!!!!!!

1st Tenor Horn -
Steve joined Haydock band when he was 11 years old and has now been there for over 25 years. Most people would wonder why he has been with the same band for so long. Some might say it's loyalty, but Steve puts it down to the fact that he doesn't want anyone else to know just how crap he is! Steve's highlight of a seemingly never ending banding career, was appearing in the Championship Section National Finals at the Albert Hall, though appearing in three productions of 'Brassed Off' comes a close second!
Steve has played cornet for 28 years but recently changed to playing tenor horn as he considered it was time for a change.
When he's not banding, Steve enjoys playing with his kids, the odd glass of wine, and reminding Wigan Warriors fans just how rubbish their team now is!!!!!
He initially ran off when having his photo taken by the way!

Got him!!!!
