Welcome to the website of The Haydock Band. The Haydock Band is the oldest community run, musical group in our area and will celebrate the 150th anniversary in 2011. We are based in Haydock, St.Helens, in the North-West of England and are currently graded as a second section band. We rehearse on Monday and Thursday evenings from 8-10pm. We have one vacancy to complete our line-up so please see the Vacancies page for more details. Haydock Band encourages anyone who is interested in playing a brass instrument or percussion to come along and meet us. We are a friendly, progressive band with an all inclusive attitude so please feel free to contact us as we would be delighted to meet you.

On Sunday 27th February 2011, Haydock Band competed in the Second Section of the North West Regional Championships and were awarded 2nd place The test piece was Resurgam by Eric Ball.
On Sunday 24th October 2010, Haydock Band competed in the Second Section of the Pontins Championships at Prestatyn Sands and were awarded 1st place The test piece was Californian Legend by Bruce Broughton.
On Sunday 14th March 2010, Haydock Band competed in the Second Section of the Northwest Regional Contest at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool and were awarded 3rd place The test piece was Kingdom of Dragons by Philip Harper.
